Day 1: Nairobi – Solio Conservancy / Nanyuki

Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by your professional safari guide.
Drive north through Kenya’s fertile central highlands, passing extensive coffee and tea plantations and enjoying spectacular views of Mount Kenya, Africa’s second-highest mountain.
Arrive in time for lunch before enjoying an afternoon game drive at Solio Conservancy, renowned for its successful rhino conservation programme.

Day 2: Solio Conservancy – Samburu National Reserve

After breakfast, travel north across the Equator to the rugged landscapes of Samburu National Reserve.
Enjoy an afternoon game drive searching for the famous Samburu Special Five:
Other wildlife includes lions, elephants, leopards, cheetahs and over 450 bird species.

Day 3: Full Day Samburu National Reserve

Spend the day exploring Samburu with morning and afternoon game drives.
Enjoy a picnic lunch in the reserve while searching for rare northern Kenya wildlife and spectacular birdlife along the Ewaso Nyiro River.

Day 4: Samburu – Meru National Park

After breakfast, depart for Meru National Park, one of Kenya’s most beautiful yet least-visited wilderness areas.
Meru is famous as the home of Elsa the Lioness, made famous by Joy and George Adamson in the classic book and film Born Free.
Enjoy an afternoon game drive searching for elephants, rhinos, lions, cheetahs, leopards, buffaloes, Grevy’s zebras, hippos and over 300 bird species.

Day 5: Meru – Lake Nakuru

Travel through Kenya’s scenic highlands, stopping at the Equator, Nyahururu, tea plantations, and the spectacular Great Rift Valley Viewpoint.
Arrive in Nakuru for dinner and overnight.

Day 6: Lake Bogoria & Lake Baringo Excursion

After breakfast, depart for Lake Bogoria, famous for its hot springs, geysers, and thousands of flamingos.
Continue to Lake Baringo for an exciting boat ride where you may spot hippos, crocodiles, fish eagles, kingfishers, and numerous bird species.
Return to Nakuru in the evening.

Day 7: Lake Nakuru National Park – Lake Naivasha

Enjoy an early morning game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park, searching for white rhinos, black rhinos, Rothschild’s giraffes, lions, leopards, buffaloes, zebras, and flamingos.
After picnic lunch, continue to Lake Naivasha.

Day 8: Hell’s Gate National Park

Spend the morning exploring Hell’s Gate National Park, one of Kenya’s few parks where visitors can walk or cycle among wildlife.
Visit the spectacular Hell’s Gate Gorge before returning to Lake Naivasha.
Optional afternoon boat ride on Lake Naivasha.

Day 9: Lake Naivasha – Maasai Mara National Reserve

After breakfast, depart for the world-famous Maasai Mara National Reserve.

Enjoy a final morning game drive before returning to Nairobi.

Transfer to your selected beach resort in Diani Beach.
