Day 1 Nairobi-Aberdares
Please note this trip starts in Nairobi. Drive to Aberdares arriving in time for Lunch. After lunch, enjoy the afternoon viewing game in this dense forest high on the mountains. Spot the mountain elephants, waterbucks, bushbucks, leopards, cheetahs and many different bird species. Dinner and Overnight at the Ark

Day 2 Aberdares to Samburu
After an early morning breakfast, return to the camp / lodge and travel north across the Equator into Samburu National Reserve. Lunch at the lodge is followed by a late afternoon game drive. Samburu is famous for the rare and unusual reticulated giraffe, long-necked gerenuk, Colobus monkey, beisa oryx and Grevy’s zebra as well as the Elephants, made famous by the Douglas-Hamilton family.

Day 3 Samburu
An early morning game drive is followed by breakfast at the lodge. After breakfast, have a full day game viewing with Bush lunch provided and head off into Samburu to explore its wildlife. You will return to your camp / lodge for for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4 Samburu to Mt. Kenya Sweetwaters camp
After an early morning breakfast, drive to Sweetwaters Tented Camp, set in the heart of a large privately owned game reserve. Here you will be able to enjoy magnificent views across the plains to the peaks of Mt. Kenya. Have lunch and then visit the Chimpanzees at the nearby sanctuary.
The Sweetwaters Chimpanzee Sanctuary opened in 1993. The facility was initially established to receive and provide lifelong refuge to orphaned and abused chimpanzees from West and Central Africa. An initial group of three chimpanzee orphans were brought to the sanctuary from a facility in Bujumbura, Burundi in 1993. This group of chimpanzees needed to be evacuated due to the outbreak of civil war in Burundi.
This was followed in 1995 by another group of 9 adult chimpanzees, followed by another 10 in 1996. Over the last decade Sweetwaters Chimpanzee Sanctuary has been compelled to keep accepting chimpanzees rescued from traumatic situations bringing the total number of chimpanzees in the Sanctuary to 42. At Sweetwaters Sanctuary chimpanzees are being carefully nursed back to health so they can enjoy the rest of their days in the safety of a vast natural enclosure.
The chimpanzees live in two large groups separated by the Ewaso Nyiro River. Your tented accommodation has a private veranda, perfect for relaxing and watching the wildlife of this fabulous game reserve and dinner is served. In the quaint original farmhouse close by.

Day 5 Sweetwaters to Lake Nakuru
After breakfast, drive to Lake Nakuru through the Aberdares Mountain range and the Rift Valley. Once described as an ornithological paradise, the park and its lake play host to lesser flamingos and many species of animals, including lion, leopard, rhino and hyena. Enjoy an afternoon game viewing whilst driving along the lakeshore, followed by lunch, dinner and overnight stay at your camp / Lodge.

Day 6 Lake Nakuru to Maasai Mara
Continue your safari adventure today into the Massai Mara Game Reserve. Arrive in time for lunch and a late afternoon game viewing drive followed by your evening meal and overnight at your camp / lodge.

Day 7 Maasai Mara
Have a full day of game viewing with a visit to the Mara River migration crossing points. You will be served with picnic/ Bush lunch and be returned to your camp / lodge in time for dinner and overnight stay

Day 8 Maasai Mara
Have a full day of game viewing with a visit to the Mara River migration crossing points. You will be served with picnic/ Bush lunch and be returned to your camp / lodge in time for dinner and overnight stay
After an early breakfast we will start the journy back to your hotel including a game drive out of the park
