Tips Before You Travel
When packing for your safari, keep in mind that Africa’s weather can be diverse and unpredictable. Temperatures and weather conditions can change considerably depending on the region and time of year.

Northern Kenya is generally hot and dry throughout the year.
Central Kenya, including Nairobi and the Mount Kenya region, can be cool, especially in the mornings and evenings.
Kenya experiences two rainy seasons:
Long Rains: April to May
Short Rains: November to December

We recommend packing:

• Lightweight clothing in neutral colours
• A light jacket or fleece for cool mornings and evenings
• Comfortable walking shoes
• Hat and sunglasses
• Sunscreen and insect repellent
• Camera and binoculars
