Pick Up from Hotel

You will be picked up from your hotel in Diani Beach or Mombasa and depart for Shimba Hills National Reserve, a scenic drive of approximately one hour.
Along the way, enjoy beautiful views of local villages, coconut plantations, and the rolling green hills of the Kenyan coast.

Arrival and Morning Game Drive

Upon arrival, begin your game drive through the reserve.
Wildlife commonly seen includes:

• Sable Antelopes

• Colobus Monkeys
• Various Bird Species

The reserve is also home to leopards, although they are rarely seen.

Guided Nature Walk to Sheldrick Falls

Enjoy a guided walk through the forest to the beautiful Sheldrick Falls.
The walk takes approximately 45 minutes and offers opportunities to:

• Explore the tropical forest
• Learn about medicinal plants
• Spot butterflies and birds
• Enjoy spectacular scenery

At the waterfall, you may relax and take photographs before returning to the vehicle.

Lunch

Proceed for lunch at the famous Shimba Hills Green Safari Lodge.
Enjoy delicious cuisine while overlooking the waterhole, where animals often gather to drink.

Afternoon Game Drive

Continue with another game drive exploring different areas of the reserve.
Visit scenic viewpoints that offer breathtaking panoramic views of:

• The Indian Ocean
• Diani Beach coastline
• The lush Shimba Hills landscape

Return Journey

Depart Shimba Hills and drive back to your hotel.
