Day 1: Nairobi – Maasai Mara National Reserve

Depart Nairobi after breakfast and travel through the spectacular Great Rift Valley to the world-famous Maasai Mara National Reserve.
Arrive in time for lunch before relaxing at your luxury safari camp.
In the afternoon, enjoy your first exciting game drive in search of the Big Five and other incredible wildlife including giraffes, zebras, cheetahs, hyenas, wildebeests, and numerous bird species.

Day 2: Full Day Maasai Mara National Reserve

Spend the entire day exploring the magnificent Maasai Mara National Reserve.
Search for lions, elephants, leopards, buffaloes, rhinos, cheetahs, topis, wildebeests, zebras, gazelles, hippos, crocodiles, and hundreds of bird species.
Visit the famous Mara River, and optionally visit a traditional Maasai Village or enjoy a spectacular Hot Air Balloon Safari (optional).

Day 3: Maasai Mara – Lake Nakuru National Park

After breakfast depart for Lake Nakuru National Park.
Enjoy an afternoon game drive around the lake, famous for its flamingos, pelicans, white and black rhinos, Rothschild’s giraffes, lions, waterbucks, and over 450 bird species.
In the evening enjoy a cultural performance by a local community before dinner.

Day 4: Lake Nakuru – Amboseli National Park

After breakfast travel via Nairobi where lunch is served at the famous Carnivore Restaurant.
Continue south via Namanga Border to Amboseli National Park.
Enjoy an evening game drive beneath the snow-capped Mount Kilimanjaro, famous for its giant elephant herds.

Day 5: Amboseli – Tarangire National Park (Tanzania)

After breakfast complete immigration formalities at the Kenya–Tanzania border before continuing to Tarangire National Park.
Known for its giant baobab trees and enormous elephant population, Tarangire is one of Tanzania’s hidden gems.
Enjoy an afternoon game drive before dinner.

Day 6: Tarangire – Serengeti National Park

After breakfast drive through the spectacular Tanzanian countryside to the legendary Serengeti National Park.
Arrive in time for lunch before relaxing.
Later enjoy an afternoon game drive across the endless plains, home to Africa’s largest wildlife populations.

Day 7: Full Day Serengeti National Park

Spend a full day exploring the world-famous Serengeti.
Search for lions, cheetahs, leopards, elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, hyenas, jackals, and numerous bird species.
Optional Hot Air Balloon Safari is available at sunrise.

Day 8: Serengeti – Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast enjoy a game drive en route to the spectacular Ngorongoro Conservation Area.
Visit Olduvai Gorge, one of the world’s most important archaeological sites, where some of the earliest human fossils were discovered.
Descend over 600 metres into the breathtaking Ngorongoro Crater, the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera and home to one of Africa’s highest concentrations of wildlife.
Enjoy a picnic lunch on the crater floor before ascending in the evening.

Day 9: Ngorongoro – Lake Manyara National Park

After breakfast drive to Lake Manyara National Park.
Explore this beautiful park famous for its lush groundwater forests, tree-climbing lions, elephants, hippos, baboons, flamingos, and more than 400 bird species.
Enjoy an afternoon game drive before dinner.

Day 10: Lake Manyara – Arusha – Nairobi / Mombasa

Enjoy breakfast before departing for Arusha.
After lunch continue to Nairobi or cross back into Kenya via the Taveta Border for transfer to your beach hotel in Mombasa or Diani Beach if extending your holiday.
This marks the end of your unforgettable East African safari.
