Day 1: Nairobi – Aberdare National Park

Your safari begins with an early morning departure from Nairobi as you travel through the fertile central highlands to Aberdare National Park.
Arrive in time for lunch before checking into the famous The Ark Lodge, uniquely designed to overlook a floodlit waterhole and salt lick where wildlife gathers throughout the day and night.
In the afternoon, enjoy wildlife viewing from the lodge or guided game drives through the dense mountain forest.
Look out for forest elephants, buffaloes, bushbucks, waterbucks, giant forest hogs, leopards, spotted hyenas, and numerous bird species.

Day 2: Aberdare National Park – Samburu National Reserve

After breakfast, depart north across the Equator towards the rugged wilderness of Samburu National Reserve.
Arrive in time for lunch before relaxing at your lodge.
Later, enjoy an afternoon game drive through this unique semi-arid ecosystem.

Day 3: Full Day Samburu National Reserve

Spend the entire day exploring the spectacular Samburu National Reserve.
After an early morning game drive and breakfast, continue with extensive wildlife viewing accompanied by a picnic bush lunch.
Search for predators, elephants along the Ewaso Nyiro River, crocodiles, hippos, and the unique wildlife found only in northern Kenya.
Return to your lodge in the evening for dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Samburu – Ol Pejeta Conservancy (Sweetwaters)

After breakfast, drive south towards Ol Pejeta Conservancy, one of Kenya’s leading wildlife conservation areas.
Enjoy magnificent views of Mount Kenya before arriving at Sweetwaters Serena Camp in time for lunch.
Later visit the internationally renowned Sweetwaters Chimpanzee Sanctuary, the only place in Kenya where rescued chimpanzees can be seen.
The sanctuary provides lifelong refuge for orphaned and abused chimpanzees rescued from across Central and West Africa.
Later enjoy a game drive through Ol Pejeta Conservancy, home to East Africa’s largest population of black rhinos, white rhinos, lions, elephants, buffaloes, leopards and numerous plains game.
Relax on your private veranda overlooking the wildlife-rich plains before dinner.

Day 5: Ol Pejeta Conservancy – Lake Nakuru National Park

After breakfast, travel through the spectacular Aberdare Ranges and descend into the Great Rift Valley towards Lake Nakuru National Park.
Arrive in time for lunch before enjoying an afternoon game drive around the lake.
Lake Nakuru is internationally famous for its flamingos, pelicans, white and black rhinos, Rothschild’s giraffes, lions, leopards, waterbucks and over 450 bird species.

Day 6: Lake Nakuru National Park – Maasai Mara National Reserve

After breakfast, depart for the world-famous Maasai Mara National Reserve.
Travel through the beautiful Great Rift Valley before arriving in time for lunch.
Later enjoy an afternoon game drive across the endless plains of the Maasai Mara.
Search for lions, elephants, buffaloes, leopards, cheetahs, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, hyenas, gazelles and many other wildlife species.

Day 7: Full Day Maasai Mara National Reserve

Spend a full day exploring the magnificent Maasai Mara National Reserve.
Visit the famous Mara River migration crossing points, where hippos and giant Nile crocodiles can be seen throughout the year.
During migration season (July to October), witness thousands of wildebeests and zebras crossing the river in one of the world’s greatest wildlife spectacles.
Enjoy a picnic bush lunch while surrounded by breathtaking African wilderness.
Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 8: Maasai Mara National Reserve – Nairobi

Enjoy an early breakfast before checking out.
Embark on a final morning game drive while exiting the reserve, offering one last opportunity to photograph Kenya’s incredible wildlife.
Drive back to Nairobi through the scenic Great Rift Valley with lunch served en route.
Arrive in Nairobi in the late afternoon, where you will be transferred to your hotel or Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, marking the end of your unforgettable safari.
