Detailed Itinerary

Duration: 3 Days / 2 Nights

Day 1: Diani Beach – Tsavo East National Park

Your safari adventure begins with an early morning pick-up from your hotel in Diani Beach at approximately 6:30 AM. Travel along the Mombasa–Nairobi Highway to Tsavo East National Park, Kenya’s largest national park covering approximately 13,747 km².
Enter the park through Bachuma Gate and immediately begin your exciting game drive through the vast wilderness. Visit Aruba Dam, one of the park’s best wildlife viewing locations where elephants, buffaloes, zebras, antelopes, and many other animals gather to drink.
Explore some of Tsavo East’s famous attractions including the Yatta Plateau, Mudanda Rock, Lugard Falls, the Voi Seasonal River, and the expansive open savannahs that make this park one of Africa’s premier safari destinations.
Keep your camera ready as you search for the famous red elephants, lions, leopards, cheetahs, giraffes, zebras, hartebeests, impalas, waterbucks, and over 500 bird species.
Arrive at your selected safari lodge at around 1:00 PM for check-in and lunch.

Day 2: Tsavo East National Park – Tsavo West National Park

Wake up early at around 5:30 AM for tea or coffee before departing on a sunrise game drive, one of the best times to observe predators such as the famous Lions of Tsavo.
Return to the lodge for a full breakfast before checking out and continuing your safari to Tsavo West National Park.
Enter the park and enjoy game viewing en route to your lodge while passing through spectacular volcanic landscapes, acacia woodlands, and open plains.
Arrive at Ngulia Safari Lodge or Kilaguni Serena Safari Lodge in time for lunch.
In the afternoon, enjoy another exciting game drive including a visit to the Ngulia Rhino Sanctuary, one of Kenya’s most successful black rhino conservation areas. Here you may also encounter elephants, buffaloes, leopards, giraffes, zebras, elands, and numerous bird species.
Return to your lodge in the evening for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Tsavo West National Park – Diani Beach

Wake up early for a pre-breakfast game drive before visiting the famous Mzima Springs, one of Tsavo West’s most spectacular attractions.
Fed by underground streams from Mount Kilimanjaro, the crystal-clear springs are home to hippos, crocodiles, tilapia fish, and abundant birdlife. The unique underwater viewing chamber offers incredible opportunities to observe aquatic wildlife beneath the surface.
Return to the lodge for breakfast before checking out.
Enjoy one final mid-morning game drive while exiting the park, giving you another opportunity to photograph elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, and other wildlife.
Lunch will be served at Lion Hill Restaurant in Voi before continuing your journey back to Diani Beach, arriving in the late afternoon.
